2. Description of Service

Seek is an AI-powered cinematography reference platform. The Service allows users to search, browse, and organize film stills using semantic search, build moodboards, and access AI-powered visual analysis tools.

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account using email/password, Google OAuth, or GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date.

You must notify us immediately at hello@seek.film if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Seek offers the following plans:

• -- Free -- Limited searches, downloads, and boards at no cost.
• -- Basic -- EUR 12.90/month or EUR 129/year. Unlimited searches, 4K downloads, 20 AI credits/month.
• -- Pro -- EUR 29.90/month or EUR 299/year. Everything in Basic, plus 150 AI credits/month, unlimited boards, Script-to-References, and PDF export.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period.

Refund policy: We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-cycle, your plan remains active until the period ends. Credit packs are non-refundable once credits have been used.

5. Free Trial

New users are eligible for a 14-day free trial of the Pro plan. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time. Each user is eligible for one free trial only.

6. AI Credits

Certain features of the Service, including Reimagine, Script-to-References, AI Analyze, and PDF Export, require AI credits. Credits are included in paid plans and can also be purchased separately as credit packs.

• -- Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
• -- Monthly subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
• -- Purchased credit packs do not expire while your account is active.
• -- All credits are forfeited upon account deletion.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• -- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data or content from the Service.
• -- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense film stills accessed through the Service.
• -- Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• -- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or any related systems.
• -- Abuse AI features, including generating harmful, misleading, or illegal content.
• -- Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or exploit free trial offers.

Violation of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

Film stills displayed on Seek are the intellectual property of their respective rights holders (studios, distributors, and filmmakers). Seek does not claim ownership of any film still content.

Seek provides access to film stills solely for the purpose of visual reference and research. You may use stills for personal reference, moodboards, and non-commercial creative research. You may not redistribute, commercially exploit, or claim ownership of any film still accessed through the Service.

The Seek name, logo, interface design, and all original software and content are the property of Seek and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Seek and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Seek in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your account data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe or repeated violations.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance by email or by posting a notice on the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer under applicable EU law.
